Variable Components
Circuit Builder supports components with values that can be set by
the user when designing a circuit. Thus, user are able to specify not
just the connections between components, but the values of the components
themselves. Currently four variable resistors, two variable capacitors and
one variable inductor are provided. The user specifies the value by adjusting
knobs, just like a resistor box in the laboratory. Absolutely any combination
of knob values is allowed. If you like, you could connect the digital multimeter
to the component and measure it's value to verify that it does indeed
have the value you specified.
